In our never-ending (!) search for beautiful little roads, we have once again discovered wild places with a Mediterranean accent where we feel really close to nature.
The roads are quieter above Carcassonne and the vineyards rule; the terrain is steeper when cycling further south towards the Cathar castles: the breathtaking views of the passes are well earned! An electric bike will then be of welcome assistance for those who prefer to tackle the slopes with a little help...

10 friends from all over France get together around a bike trip. Évasion à vélo consolidated all their requirements so they could enjoy the natural and gastronomic riches of the Périgord for 5 days.
A couple would like to take a bike tour around Paris with their two children aged 10 and 12. Évasion à vélo created a 3-day itinerary that combines all the family's wishes: heritage, nature and theme park are on the program.
For example, a retired couple, still young and active, decided on a six-day tour working through our “Evasion à Velo” site. Our local representative put together a tailor-made programme for them including vineyards, cities, charming villages and…. beaches.
